Is it walkable to Dana Beach and Senzo Mall in Hurghada, or should you take a taxi/InDrive?

In August 2026 tourists who walked this route said the trip to the fixed-price shops by Dana Beach took them about 40 minutes — they did not time it exactly, so it is a rough estimate. Walking to Senzo Mall, in their view, would take at least an hour.

How the route works: opposite Dana Beach there is a fixed-price shop (similar to Cleopatra), and if you head uphill from it you come out right at Senzo Mall. On the map in August 2026 the distance looked short to a traveler, but in practice the walk to the mall takes about an hour.

If you would rather not walk, in July 2026 a participant suggested ordering an InDrive ride to the nearest Cleopatra Bazaar. In their estimate the trip should cost no more than 250 Egyptian pounds, and the app shows the exact fare before you book.
