Where can you order seafood delivery to your hotel in Hurghada, and how much does it cost?

In September 2026 a participant gave a price guide: raw shrimp cost on average about EGP 600 per kg (more or less depending on size), and cooking them right at the market costs no more than EGP 50. Delivery depends on the area: within Hurghada, excluding outlying districts, roughly EGP 40–70. This is one participant's estimate, not a fixed price list.

Asked in September 2026 what a fair price for a kilo of cooked shrimp with delivery is, a participant replied that shrimp come in different sizes at different prices, so it is best to message the supplier and ask for a price list. Delivery cost depends on the area: one traveler had an order brought to Sahl Hasheesh for $7.

In July 2026 one traveler wrote that they ordered seafood to their hotel because the hotel's own seafood was poor. A Russian-speaking traveler paid about 1,500 roubles for a huge portion of shrimp, scallops and squid; they ordered three days in a row and were happy with the taste.

If you are counting on seafood at your hotel, you may be disappointed. According to a late-June 2026 review, one hotel served neither red fish nor seafood at the buffet over two days, and its Italian restaurant offered only six tiny 1.5–2 cm shrimp as a beer snack; the seafood pizza was decent, though.

In late June 2026 travelers ordered shrimp and squid from a local supplier with hotel delivery for $2: the order was filled the same day and arrived right on time. In early August other visitors ordered pasta, grilled parrotfish (2 kg) and 1 kg of medium shrimp from the same supplier — delivery was again $2, and the fish got particular praise.
