Is a budget adults-only (18+) hotel a good choice in Sharm El Sheikh?

A guest who stayed July 11-18 noted the hotel grounds are large, green and blooming, with no sense of crowding even at near-100% occupancy; on the beach they found a lagoon where swimming was possible before lunch even under a red flag.

The same guest had an issue where the booked room type wasn't honored, and it took a full day working through the hotel's resort guide to resolve; she saw other guests frustrated at reception, and heard reports of some getting a room swap simply by offering staff chocolate.

Another guest who stayed 3-4 days last year before flying home said the price then was around 2700 RUB/night, which was great for walking to nearby shops, clubs and bars in the evening — but overall found the hotel just so-so, and says the price is now unreasonably high.

A guest currently staying there complains that the beach is quite far from the hotel and, due to proximity to a club area, loud music plays in the evenings, which isn't ideal for older guests; food is good, rooms clean and cozy, and staff friendly.

One budget hotel got good reviews after a month-long stay - it has a separate fenced 18+ zone on the beach, and you can walk to the Old Town from the hotel.

A small, clean budget hotel (tested in December 2024) shuttles guests to two beaches - sandy and reef - about a 10-minute ride, with a bar and light snacks available on the beach.

Food at this hotel is decent and it's popular with European guests, but it's fairly quiet for younger travelers - there's a free evening shuttle to Old Town and Naama Bay.
