Is it worth visiting the Pyramids of Giza from Sharm el-Sheikh in summer?

If you handle heat well, there's nothing stopping you from going — but be aware that the pyramids are scorching hot right now, which significantly affects the experience.

Desert heat is noticeably more intense than on the coast. Even though the drive from Sharm takes only about 2.5 hours, it's better to postpone this trip until a cooler season.

With a short trip and summer heat, it's not practical to spend a day on an exhausting desert excursion in extreme temperatures. Plan pyramid visits for autumn or spring instead.
