What are the rooms like at Edge Rotana Sea Beach 5-star hotel in Sharm el-Sheikh?

Guests who arrived in June were placed in the newly renovated Building 5 with a great sea view. However, strong winds at the entrance made it cold, especially for children. Dinner queues for meat stretched across the entire restaurant — reportedly unlike anything seen at other hotels.

Guests who stayed in Building 5 in April found the air conditioning noisy, though manageable on the lowest setting — sometimes they turned it off entirely. Overall the building was considered acceptable.

During a winter stay, one guest had to change rooms 6 times due to odors, insects, rusty tap water, and a door that didn't close properly between adjoining rooms. A decent room in the newer Fun Sun wing was only provided the next day after hours of room-hopping until 2am. The 7-night winter stay cost approximately $160.
