What to expect during hotel check-in in Sharm El Sheikh (early arrival, room selection, towels/amenities)?

On arrival the guest was first given rooms 6747 and 6753, far from the beach and main building; the next day they requested and got closer rooms 5410/5407. A family room was also offered but one of its two rooms is a walk-through, despite a good location overall.

A triple room (one double bed + one single bed) was given only 2 large towels and 1 small one instead of enough for three guests, just 1 roll of toilet paper, and no toothbrushes at all — bring your own. Tableware included 3 cups but only 2 spoons, 2 wine glasses and 2 water glasses.

Robes and slippers aren't left in the room by default — you have to specifically request them at reception. On the first request, staff brought only 2 large towels, one small towel, two robes and two pairs of slippers for a room of three, so guests had to ask again for the missing items.

Landing early (around 7am) usually means the room is still occupied by previous guests. Tip: change clothes in a restroom, leave your bag at the luggage storage, have breakfast at the 2nd-floor restaurant, hit the beach, and by lunchtime (around 1pm) the room is typically ready.

Initially assigned room 5249 with a tiny balcony; after asking at reception, it was swapped the next day for room 5209 with a proper balcony facing the courtyard — quiet, no wind, and evening party noise is barely audible with the doors closed.

On checkout day the room must be vacated by 12pm sharp, but wifi, food and beach access continue until 3pm; luggage can be stored for free with no extra charge for the extended access.
