Where can you get ice cream during the day at Castelo beach in Sharm El Sheikh, and is it currently available?

According to a recent update, ice cream has been removed from the beach bar and the restaurant bar on the second line; it is now available only at the food court. The beach refrigerator was removed in winter.

As reported on July 20, guests on the first line waited around 20 minutes for ice cream but no attendant appeared; the same happened the previous day. Vanilla ice cream was also unavailable, while the outlet appeared closed.

No ice-cream vouchers are required: guests can take as much as they want, and restaurant staff do not record servings either.

There's a different kiosk giving out free ice cream from 3–4 PM, but only for guests in the "Beach" category; guests in the "Gardens" category need to go to their own area for ice cream.

As of July 7, travelers reported that the main ice cream point at Castelo beach had no ice cream available, and it does not seem likely to return soon because the area has already been replaced with tables and chairs.

If you are looking for ice cream there during the day, do not rely on the former Castelo beach spot — it has effectively been removed and turned into a seating area.

As a backup option, travelers suggest checking the far bar toward Jungle beach, as that is the only place where ice cream might still be available, though this was not confirmed.
