Which all-inclusive resort to pick in Sharm El Sheikh (check-in, beach, room reviews)

Palm Beach Hotel in Sharm El Sheikh got a negative review — the only good thing was the renovated rooms, otherwise the stay was disappointing and not worth repeating.

At the reviewed hotel (older but well-kept room), housekeeping cleans daily and restocks the minibar every day; the bathroom has nail files, cotton pads, a sponge and brushes.

Most guests head to the main hotel beach, so grab a lounger early in the morning; there's a separate adults-only area up on a rocky ledge, plus drink fridges, a bar and a volleyball court on the beach. Many guests actually prefer the pool to the beach.

If the hotel has free rooms, they usually don't delay early check-in — you can get into your room almost right after arrival. Over the past couple of years, no hotel has cut off the all-inclusive wristband for checking in early like this.

Worth booking a room with a sea view right by the beach if available — there aren't many, but you can comfortably relax on the couch there with the view for hours until checkout.
