TL;DR
A sulfur-like smell (similar to a mineral hot spring odor) appears in the evening, usually between 5:30-7pm, and is caused by the hotel's irrigation system using sulfur-rich water. Rooms, balconies and restaurants are usually unaffected.
Travelers confirm this smell is a known recurring feature at certain hotels, not a one-off incident; there's no clear fix, and many guests still ask about it.
According to guest observations, the smell is noticeable from 5:30pm to 7pm, and sometimes again around 9pm when leaving toward the town. It typically lasts 30-60 minutes after the irrigation system runs. Rooms, balconies and the dining hall were never affected.
Bungalow guests note a mild sulfur smell (similar to a Black Sea coastal odor) that's noticeable when leaving the beach around 5pm, and again after showering before dinner.
