Are there many mosquitoes and insects in Antalya in summer?

One family's child got mosquito bites at their first hotel and had swollen legs the whole trip due to an allergic reaction. Their repellent was stolen during room cleaning, so they avoided going outside in the evenings.

During 9 days in July, saw zero mosquitoes even in the evening by the river — despite bringing both fumigators and sprays as precaution.

During 10 days in early July, only saw a couple of flies, almost no other insects — didn't even notice bees on flowers. No need to worry much about insects.
