TL;DR
A meal for two in Antalya ranges from roughly 300 to 2000 RUB equivalent depending on the area. The cheapest options are near the waterfall and in the Kaleiçi old town; Konyaaltı tends to be pricier.
Local shawarma stands in Antalya charge around 200 TRY per portion and are considered tasty — for comparison, a similar portion in Israel would cost at least 3000 (local currency).
You can shop for groceries at Migros or similar supermarkets for self-catering. If eating at a cafe instead, expect to pay from 500 TRY on average per meal.
Regular cheap eateries can be surprisingly pricey — even a simple lentil soup costs a lot. Self-catering (dry goods, canned food, home cooking) works out cheaper than in Russia: a pack of pasta from 6 TRY, and good quality butter around 500 TRY per kilogram. An ayran-yogurt diet can be very budget-friendly.
Prices rose noticeably this season. Lunch for two (sea bass with a side, water, cola or beer) costs around 1500–1600 TRY. Beach club Kulube charges 400 TRY entry including sunbed and umbrella (free for kids), and you can have lunch there too. Dinner in the city center runs 2000–2500 TRY. Overall, staying under $100/day for two adults with a child isn't realistic.
At regular restaurants (tried a fish place and an Italian one, both good) prices run 12–20 euro per person per dish. Alternatively, a beach cabana costs 125 euro and includes all-day food and drink service, letting you relax comfortably for the whole day.
Beach cabanas are available for 70 euro or 80 dollars for the whole day, all-inclusive, with continuous fast service — orders are taken before the kitchen even opens, so food is ready by 12:30.
In the Konyaaltı area, a standard Turkish meal — kebab, vegetables, tea, and a side dish — costs at least 2000 RUB for two people. Near the waterfall it's a bit cheaper, around 1500 RUB for two.
Ordering smaller portions keeps costs very low: a small dish is around 140 TRY, and two people can snack for about 300 TRY total. A full meal with a drink runs around 700 TRY per person.
The Kaleiçi old town has plenty of affordable eateries. A kebab with ayran or cola costs around 200 RUB — the cheapest option available. A large, filling main dish runs 250–300 TRY. Two people can have a decent lunch for about 1000 RUB. Tip: look for places where locals are eating.
