TL;DR

Before flying internationally from Istanbul with a cat, confirm the destination-country and airline rules. The traveller already used a pet passport, microchip, rabies titre test and veterinary paperwork for entry, but a current pre-departure health certificate may be required for the next flight.

What the community said

The cat travelled to Istanbul with a pet passport, microchip, veterinary certificates and a rabies antibody titre test. Airport staff accepted this documentation on arrival without issues.

Before departing Istanbul, check whether a new veterinary health certificate is needed shortly before the flight; requirements vary by destination and airline.

Even if the rabies titre test was completed less than a month ago and the paperwork was accepted for entry to Türkiye, the next destination may have separate timing rules for tests, vaccination and parasite treatment.
