TL;DR
Paid seats in the center or slightly right of the main stage offer the best view of both fireworks and the show. Free viewing spots exist but have limited sightlines.
Once inside the grandstand, head toward the stage and go up. Fireworks launch from the right side of the stage (as you face it), so center or slightly right seats are ideal. The first row on the large step offers a great view of both the stage and the fireworks. Note: seats closest to the stage get very hot due to fire effects during the show.
Free viewing is possible — look for open spots along the riverbank with a clear sightline toward the stage area. The official grandstand opposite the stage is ticketed, but the fireworks are large enough to be visible from various points along the Han River embankment. Expect a less complete experience without the stage show.
Paid tickets come in several tiers. Standard grandstand seats face the main stage and cover fireworks, the concert, and light show. Higher categories place you closer to the center. VIP zones offer premium positions, while AVIP/VVIP also include drink service. Check the official DIFF website and Da Nang tourism portal for current pricing and ticket availability.
