Which beach in Nha Trang is best for swimming — Bai Dai or Marina Beach?

Marina Beach has almost no waves, making it ideal for calm swimming. The downside is that it feels like a city beach with little natural scenery.

Costa Bella is more scenic and secluded, but only safe in the morning. After noon, wind shifts or tidal changes make the water dirty and the waves dangerously powerful — strong enough to knock adults off their feet. On rough days, debris including large metal barrels can wash ashore and buoys get pushed close to the beach.

Rough seas in this region are typical for the season. Mui Ne and Phan Thiet also have strong waves during this period — those spots are better suited for surfing than leisure swimming.
