TL;DR
A beach reached by more than 100 steps can be difficult in Egypt’s heat, especially when carrying a child and beach gear. The water may be very shallow for toddlers, but families should preferably choose a hotel with a ramp, elevator, or level beach access.
The beach is reached by a long staircase of more than 100 steps. Going down is manageable, but climbing back up in the heat can be strenuous, so consider this carefully before booking.
There is not necessarily a flat path all the way to the sea; part of the route involves steps. This can be inconvenient for strollers, young children, leg injuries, or limited mobility.
The shoreline is extremely shallow: water was knee-deep for a three-year-old, with roughly a 1-metre area for splashing. It works for supervised toddler play but is not a full swimming entry.
