Is the food good at Egyptian all-inclusive resorts?

During a December stay (11 days), no real kitchen issues were noticed, but desserts were disappointing — almost nothing interesting except a few exceptions.

A fresh report from early July was much less positive: the traveler felt that almost all dishes were poorly prepared, and the beef was very tough. They specifically noted that the food had been noticeably better there in February.

In April at Castello restaurant, lunch and dinner always included fresh baked goods: pancakes, waffles, and chocolate fondant. Sweet Home (bakery) offered a wide selection of fruit and pastries at dinner. Ice cream was available at both Castello and Calambous.

In February the food was excellent: the grill was always active, and the meat selection was varied, including poultry dishes.

Visited about 2 months ago — food was good, no stomach issues. Many guests use the à la carte restaurant for dinner (reservation required), lunch is walk-in.

In late January the food was excellent with a huge variety. In April other travelers also reported good quality and variety. Negative reviews are the exception, not the rule.

From personal experience (last September): there's a café with various coffees and pastries, live music at both breakfast and dinner. Grilled meats available — beef kebab was a highlight, though consistency can vary. Seafood on offer, salmon served at breakfast.

Visited the same resort twice in different years — food was tasty both times. The only downside on the second visit was very slow service, which meant leaving before dessert arrived.
