Are beachfront hotels in Hurghada noisy at night because of entertainment and beach discos?

Another guest reported that at their hotel the music is unobtrusive and quiet — nothing loud or shouting. It only gets louder briefly during pool animation events. Twice a week at 4:00pm there's live music at the beach bar with fairly good musicians singing and playing.

At one hotel a beach disco happened only once in 15 days, otherwise it was a standard program (karaoke, guess-the-tune). The guest noted the main nightlife action is concentrated at the nearby Dreams hotel, which is much livelier.

One traveler reported that near Majestic hotel there was a concert that lasted all night, with loud music blasting from 10pm to 5am, making sleep impossible for nearby guests. Overall, entertainment in the area was described as average: morning water aerobics by the pool, evening shows (skits, concerts, karaoke) that are usually short.

At some Hurghada beachfront resorts, disco music can continue until 4:00 am. This suits guests who want nightlife, but rooms close to the beach may be unsuitable for light sleepers.

Daytime dancing and entertainment may take place around the pool as well as on the beach. If daytime quiet matters, ask the hotel for the pool-animation schedule and request a building away from the pool.

Evening programmes commonly include singing, dancing and amphitheatre shows, while beach music and activities may start around 11:00 am and run into the evening. Avoid rooms near the amphitheatre if you want a quieter stay.
