Can you still use a Hurghada resort after check-out — do they cut the wristband, inspect the room, and allow lunch or drinks before your transfer?

TL;DR
Based on recent traveler experience in Hurghada, after the standard 12:00 check-out the wristband may stay on, staff may not inspect the room in front of you, and you can sometimes still have lunch and drinks before your transfer.
At a Hurghada resort, guests received a reminder call to the room at about 11:20 that official check-out was at 12:00. If your transfer is later, expect the usual noon check-out time.
At check-out, it was enough to return the room key cards and towel cards at reception around 11:50. Staff did not ask extra questions, so the process was quick.
According to this traveler, no one came to inspect the room in front of the guests after they returned the cards. That makes departure easier if you need to leave quickly for the airport.
The wristbands were not cut off after check-out, so the guests were still able to stay on the resort grounds. In this case, they could wait for departure without losing access immediately.
Even after handing in the room, the travelers still had lunch, went to a shop, returned to the hotel, and got drinks before leaving. So at some Hurghada resorts, all-inclusive access may effectively continue until your transfer.
