TL;DR
For early October, travelers were booking Hurghada resorts such as Rixos and Sunrise around two months ahead. Reported examples ranged from RUB 110,000–127,000 for six nights for two adults and a child, to roughly RUB 250,000–340,000 for 11–12 nights including flights.
For an August–September trip, start monitoring prices in February and aim to book from late March to mid-April. After that, rates typically rise and popular hotels may stop selling rooms. The early-booking period is generally considered to run until about mid-April.
Another recommendation is to book at least four months ahead, ideally six months. One example was a 10-day October trip for two adults and one child, booked in May with EgyptAir flights, for RUB 280,000.
One view is that booking a month ahead is not essential; a suitable option may still be available even the day before departure.
A stay at Swiss for one adult and a 6-year-old, including flights and 11 nights, was quoted at about RUB 250,000 (around US$3,200). With expected cashback of RUB 27,500, the net cost would be roughly RUB 222,500.
For early October high season, Rixos was booked two months before arrival. Six days for two adults and a 6-year-old cost about RUB 110,000 (around US$1,400), excluding flights.
For the same family, Sunrise was quoted at about RUB 127,000 (around US$1,600) for six days. Flights via Turkey were estimated at roughly RUB 100,000 for everyone, bringing a 12-day Rixos or Sunrise trip to about RUB 340,000 in total.
