Is it windy in Hurghada in summer and how does it affect comfort?

Strong winds have been blowing for several days in a row, almost knocking you off your feet. At +36°C it still feels very comfortable outside. But stepping out of the sea immediately feels cold due to the wind. There is no oppressive heat at the resort.

In the morning and evening, getting out of the sea or pool in the wind feels noticeably cool — bring a towel or cover-up. This applies across Hurghada, not just specific beaches.

The lagoon water is cool in the morning, and the wind can be very strong at times. Getting out of the water in the morning or evening during gusts feels uncomfortable — you feel cold despite the hot daytime temperature.
