Where should I stay in Hurghada in late November to avoid windy beaches?

In Sahl Hasheesh and Makadi Bay, look at hotels on the left-hand side of the bay for less wind. One February report found frequent calm conditions around V, Pyramisa and Serenity Sky Art.

The Zahabia area is described as very windy. Sunny Days buildings provide Zahabia only limited shelter, while the Sunny Days lagoon is generally calmer than its open beach.

One local suggests the hotel just left of Prima (the first hotel in that row) and the area to the right of Fort Arabesque and the Sunrise hotels tend to be less windy. Further along in either direction it gets windier, though no one can guarantee conditions for a specific autumn.

Jaz Makadi Oasis, part of Madinat Makadi, is not the most reliable choice for November because its beach conditions can be windy. Check the hotel’s exact beach position and exposure to the open sea before booking.

In Makadi Bay, the beach accessed through Sunrise Royal Makadi Resort may feel more sheltered. Even when the wider area is windy, conditions directly on this beach can be noticeably calmer.

For a late-November stay, avoid hotels in Hurghada’s most wind-exposed areas, such as Sunny Days. More sheltered options are generally found near Sheraton Road, the Mamsha, Sahl Hasheesh, and carefully selected Makadi Bay resorts.
